We also recognise carpet cleaning as a trade skill. This means it can only be achieved through study as well as practical and theoretical examination.

The Carpet Cleaning Industry Is Evolving!

As you know, the carpet cleaning industry is unregulated. Individuals can simply purchase equipment and operate as carpet cleaners without formal training or being required to meet any standard.

Member Requirments

Become a Full Member

Members are required to have undertaken these training modules through a recognised training organisation:

  • Work Health & Safety Fundamentals.
  • Basic Upholstery Cleaning & Drying
  • Basic Carpet Cleaning and Dyeing
    • If you have not undertaken any of these modules you have one year to complete the required training through a recognised organisation. The CCA Vic will help you obtain these modules.
    Members will also need to have:
  • Public Liability Insured
